Amidst a drenching night in Ho Chi Minh City, a senior man pedals his bicycle, carrying 100 unsold spring rolls (Gỏi cuốn) and a heart full of silent perseverance.
- A Story of Dignity: Though he has children, they struggle with their own families. Refusing to be a burden, he and his wife work as a team—she prepares the rolls, and he sells them until 4 AM if necessary.
- Lifelong Grit: Originally from Vĩnh Long, he has called Saigon home for decades. His only wish is to support his household without asking for help from his struggling children.
- HiBT’s Intervention: Beyond a protective raincoat, the HiBT team handed him an envelope with 2,000,000 VND. Our goal was simple: to let him go home early, stay dry, and feel the warmth of a community that cares.
HiBT Core Value: We believe in "Sharing Love." Our mission is to encourage those who work hard despite life’s hardships, reminding them they are never alone.
